Spend a full day learning the art of glass mosaic-making and create a beautiful framed piece to display in your home. Perfect for beginners and anyone wanting to try a new craft in a relaxed, friendly setting. We can accommodate groups of up to six people on this course.

What You’ll Create:

A framed glass mosaic panel in your choice of two sizes: 30cm x 30cm or 20cm x 20cm. We’d suggest choosing your size based on how comfortable you feel cutting glass — the smaller frame is a great option if you’re new to glass cutting or prefer a shorter piece to complete in the time available.

Techniques You’ll Learn:

• Introduction to glass mosaic design and materials
• Planning your design onto the frame
• Cutting glass to size and shape
• Arranging and adhering glass pieces
• Glueing your mosaic securely into the frame
• Grouting techniques for a professional finish
• Cleaning and polishing your finished piece

This course will guide you through the whole process, from planning your design and cutting glass, through to glueing your pieces into place. Please note that due to time constraints, you will need to grout your mosaic at home once the glue has fully set — full instructions and grout are provided so you can finish it easily yourself.

All materials are included: frame, glass, glue, and grout.
